TRAINING OFFERED:
“After the Bungy Jump . . . There’s Still A Lot of Jerking Goin’ On” a 12 - course training series includes lessons on parenting, relationships, family unity and life skill training designed for the returning family member and their loved ones.
“Helping Families Transitioning After Long Separation From A Loved One” - training designed to assist families through separation. The preparation, adjustment, communication, expectations, emotional impact, reunification (renegotiation of relationships) and return to healthy family life.
Prison Ministry Establishment
Saidiana WORKS, Inc.(SWI) offers training to help your ministry develop its prison outreach. With over twenty years experience working directly with detained individuals in a correctional facility - SWI can assist you with training as well as implementation of your vision. Whether you decide to do traditional prison visitation or are interested in doing post prison work - SWI can help.
Support Group Establishment
After providing workshops, Saidiana WORKS will assist its partner (faith-based, community based, correctional organization, etc.) with establishing support groups (couples, co-parenting, family of origin) as laid out in our Support Group Format training - designed to help families experiencing challenges after separation with networking strength to build upon. The training lays out the important do's and don'ts of support groups as well as structure that will help the group thrive. After establishment of the support group, it will continue under the auspices of the faith-based group or community organization that originated the workshop.
SWI believes that all people should have equal access to available resources. Through its resource center establishment training SWI will guide groups through the necessary steps to develop a resource center in its facility. The training includes information on how to make the resource center a central hub of any community. The training group will be given tips about how to get the most from the center for the organization and the people who will be served.
